Ringo Starr

The "All-Starr" Collection

An autographed series of collector's plates and figurines featuring the Beatles' inimitable drummer, Ringo Starr continues to dominate collectible news. The collection has been so popular that very few signed pieces remain in the initial market. How many Beatles' autographs are out there to start with?

R.H. Gartlan, president of Gartlan USA, the creator of the Ringo Starr Collection says, "A Ringo Starr autograph, selling on an album cover for as much as $700 at auction makes our Ringo Starr autographed figurine, priced at $350.00 truly one of Gartlan USA's best values, and, as a result, this is one of the most popular collections this company has ever created."

"Retrospect" is an exquisitely crafted lithograph that is hand autographed by Ringo Starr himself!! The artwork features five distinct portraits of Ringo throughout his career, from the time he joined the Beatles in 1962 to the present. Renowned portrait artist Bart Forbes created the original artwork. Each piece will be personally hand-signed and numbered by the artist. Ringo added his own personal touch by creating the design on the artwork’s mat border (stars & drumsticks, what else?).

This splendid piece of artwork measures 10" x 21", is museum mounted and double matted. It is limited to a worldwide edition of only 500 pieces and will retail for $495. An additional 50 Artist Proofs will be available for $595 and will be individually remarqued.

The second introduction is entitled, "Peace" and is a hanging figurine that captures Ringo standing in a relaxed pose, flashing the peace sign. The 4 1/2" porcelain figurine is finished with a glossy Crystalline glaze and comes with it’s own specially designed display stand. This display stand bears Ringo's facsimile signature in gold ink. This figurine is limited to 10,000 pieces worldwide and will retail for $29.95 including the stand.

Both of these items will be available in late Spring 2000.

Ringo’s All Star Collection also includes:

9" Signed Pewter Figurine, 9" Signed Artist Proof figurine and a 4" Pewter figurine.

These figurines are cast in museum grade pewter, rendered in stunning detail, and exquisitely presented on a dark wood plynth.

The 9" figurines, personally signed by Ringo are limited to a worldwide edition size of only 500 pieces, retailing for only $495. The Artist Proof is finished with a brilliant sterling silver plating and is limited to only 50 pieces worldwide and retails for $895. The collection also includes a 4 1/2" unsigned version and is limited to only 5,000 pieces, retailing for $125.

Gartlan USA includes metal from smelted weapons - which were either confiscated in crimes or voluntarily surrendered to law enforcement agencies - in each pewter figurine. A Certificate of Issuance is included with each figurine noting the date and place that the gun metal was smelted.
